Another square no one calls by its official name – Narodni trg, which would translate to the People’s Square. Pjaca is on the most western exit from the Palace complex, and it was one of the first inhabited parts of the city outside the palace walls. Throughout the history it has been the home to the city hall and one of the oldest bookshops in the world. Today it is a central spot for numerous cafes and restaurants, including the oldest one in town, Gradska Kavana Central.
