Diocletian Palace - Vestibul

Vestibul

Circular on the inside, rectangular on the outside, with an open ceiling, the acoustics of this old imperial court is something you simply have to experience for yourself.

Originally used to access the royal residential part of the palace, the use of Vestibul had changed a lot over the years – people living in the palace a little over 70 years ago used this place to keep their poultry as well as cultivate their gardens.

If you are especially lucky, during the season you will sometimes be able to find a dalmatian a capella group called Klapa practicing and singing inside the Vestibul, so try not to miss out.
