The Cathedral od St. Domnius

St. Duje (St. Domnius) is the protector of Split city. He is celebrated every year on May 7th, one of the most important days for the city of Split.

The Bell Tower

The most original Medieval Dalmatian architecture dating from the 13th century. It was reconstructed at the turn of the 20th century.

The temple of Jupiter

Dedicated to the Ancient Roman god Jupiter. It is located near the Peristil square. Built between 295 and 305 AD, today it is considered to be one of the most beautiful European monuments.

Grgur Ninski

The statue of Grgur Ninski is situated north of the Palace, just as you exit the Golden Gate. One of his big toes is golden and shiny – the locals believe that rubbing it makes wishes come true.

Diocletian’s Palace
